Collaboration: NYICFF FilmED Classroom
At the end of 2020, I collaborated with The New York International Children’s Film Festival as Lead Curriculum Developer and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Advisor on a new online resource, NYICFF FilmED Classroom. This curriculum for educators serves as a FREE one-stop portal for finding short films by diverse award winning filmmakers and corresponding learning materials. The films and lessons plans included intends to spark meaningful conversations, around themes of of Identity and foster media literacy and critical thinking skills while supporting social-emotional learning.
